Terms of use

These terms describe the practical limits of using Sigy. By using the editor, you agree to use it lawfully and review your own results before sharing them.

The service

Sigy provides a free browser-based tool to open, annotate, fill, sign, print, and export documents. Features and supported file formats may change. We do not promise that every PDF or imported file will render or export perfectly.

Your files and responsibility

You remain responsible for the documents you open, the content and signatures you add, and the copies you download or share. Review each exported file and keep your own backups. Browser storage may be cleared by you or your browser.

Electronic signatures

Sigy places a visual signature in a PDF. It does not verify signer identity, issue qualified certificates, create a tamper-evident audit trail, or determine whether a signature meets a recipient's legal requirements. Laws and document rules vary by jurisdiction and transaction. Confirm the required signing method with the recipient before relying on the output.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent applicable law permits, Sigy is not responsible for losses from incompatible files, browser data loss, or use of an exported document. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
