Local and offline

Edit PDFs offline after the first load

Once the editor has loaded and its assets are cached, you can continue signing, filling, and annotating PDFs without an internet connection.

Open the free editor

How offline editing works

The app caches its editor files on your device. PDF processing happens locally, and working documents are saved in this browser profile for later sessions.

Prepare before disconnecting

Open Sigy while online and allow it to finish loading. Save a test file, then confirm the editor opens while offline before depending on it for travel or field work.

Offline limits

Phone signing needs an internet connection for its temporary encrypted signature relay. Clearing browser storage can delete saved documents, signatures, and cached app files. Download important completed PDFs separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do my PDFs go to a server when I reconnect?

No. The editor does not upload document bytes when you reconnect.

Can I use phone signing offline?

No. Phone signing uses a temporary encrypted relay and needs internet access.
